Risk of Bias Table Generator

Build a color-coded risk-of-bias summary across your included studies, for RoB 2 or ROBINS-I domains.

A risk-of-bias traffic-light table, often called a "robvis-style" summary, is the standard way to communicate methodological quality across your included studies at a glance. Green cells signal low risk, amber signals some concerns, and red signals high risk, giving readers an immediate visual sense of how much weight to place on your pooled results.

This tool lets you build one for either RoB 2 (for randomized trials) or ROBINS-I (for non-randomized studies), domain by domain. Add a row for each included study, click through each domain cell to set its rating, and the overall column calculates automatically using the standard RoB 2 and ROBINS-I aggregation rules.

The color-coded table is a communication tool, not the assessment itself. Getting to each domain rating still requires reading the study's methods critically against the tool's actual signalling questions, ideally with a second reviewer working independently.

Click each cell to cycle through: blank → Low → Some concerns → High.

This is a working aid for building your own risk-of-bias summary, not a substitute for the full RoB 2 or ROBINS-I signalling questions, and not a replacement for independent dual assessment by two reviewers.
